Quaglino's (16 Bury Street, London, SW1Y 6AJ) We went here for a birthday celebration on Saturday night and had a lovely time. The bar was buzzy, the singer was great and the staff attentive. We then descended the stairs to the restaurant and again had good service, the food was disappointing; mushy mussels and undercooked meringue, but it was at the end of the meal when we were accused of not leaving a tip! that the evening could well have turned sour. Having left a generous tip already, to be asked again was outrageous! unfortunately the gentleman with us put his hand in his pocket so as not to cause a fuss in front of the birthday girl! – shame on you Quaglino's
