A nice pub, with some good drinks, but a little too busy generally for me. I like it a bit more relaxed, but that's just me.

The Prince Arthur (95 Forest Road, London, London, E8 3BH)

It's a near perfect little old pub. It's cozy and quiet, and has a really good menu too. Lovely.

Mangal 1 (10 Arcola Street, London, London, E8 2DJ)

This really is the best place to get a ‘real’ kebab in the east. They have been doing it amazingly well for years, long may they continue.

The Empress (130 Lauriston Road, London, London, E9 7LH)

My wife and I enjoy going down here during the week when its a bit more relaxed. The food really is superb and the staff all very attentive.
