Chinese Cricket Club (19 New Bridge Street, London, London, EC4V 6DB) Having met some friends at the Crowne Plaza near Blackfriars recently we decided to have lunch at the Chinese Cricket Club, as we felt being a party of 10 we couldn't go wrong. How right we were, we found the service to be excellent along with the wine and particularly the Champers, which should accompany every celebration. We had the Chefs Dim Sum to start with such classics as Prawn har gao and what I found out to be Chicken wor tip. This was followed by sof shell crab which was delightful, with Prawn Chilli & Black Bean and what for me and the whole party felt was the stand out dish, Fried Perch…UNFORGETTABLE! All in all we had a delightful lunch and would recommend the Chinese Cricket Club to anyone, go and enjoy you won't be dissappointed.
