Sushinho (312-314 King's Road, London, SW3 5UH)

Went here last night after reading some good reviews, and general curiosity over how this fusion would work. To sum up, seems like a wannabe Asia de Cuba. The food had great potential, but let down by simple finishing touches, the seabass and pork belly both great, but really needed salt, conversely, the grilled vegetables had too much salt. The sushi was fresh and tasty, even if it was served without soy sauce.

The real let down came from the service, after sitting down waited 5mins to be given a menu, table was set on the leaning tower of pisa (trivial, but annoying), food was not served in the order i asked (sushi first), and was nearly charged for a dish we ordered but did not arrive. To top it off, the waitress stank like a beast.

A real let down, as the food could be great, especially if it was delivered by good service. And for the price (circa £100 for 2 with drinks), you may as well go to Asia de cuba where the little extra goes many miles further…
