Trinity (4 The Polygon, London, London, SW4 0JG) We were very disappointed. The service was fussy and intrusive, with random interruptions to re-fold our napkins (?) which disrupted our conversation unecessarily. Worse, the food was mediocre to appalling, and terrible value for money. My main course of gnocci wth butternut squash, parmesan and mushrooms was missing the gnocci, which I realised having eating half of it, and the vegetables were a mound of over salted slimy ribbons which I would have been ashamed to serve up. The only saving grace was the fried egg on top, but I could have had that at considerably less expense in the nearest greasy spoon. An expresso charged at £4! How pretentious.
