Not only do I wholeheartedly agree with you, but I would also like to point out the glowing ten star reviews some dumps get over and over again by single-post reviewers and Squaremeals' own dated and somewhat superficial reviews, talking about dishes that haven't been on the menu for years. I advice you to instead start reading foodie blogs. They are much more balanced, honest, up to date and detailed. More

Read the thread November 2010I Don't use this website regularly anymore, many contributors aren't serious, ironically those are taken seriously. The ones that actually review dozens of restaurants and have some kind of opinion about the very obvious negative aspects of the square meal reviewing process, don't even get an answer to their questions. Christopher (a reader and reviewer) is being told what the opinion of the readers and reviewers is, thus having his opinion ignored. And MissSushi doesn't even get an answer (and she has a valid point).
