Phoenix Palace (5 Glentworth Street, London, NW1 5PG)

This is one of my neighbourhood favourites. Even though the location is ‘whatever’, and the decor is dated, the food is always very good. It's always packed with large chinese groups and sometimes you'll have to wait for up to half hour for dim sum lunch on weekends, but it's worth it. Food is always good and my husband and I go at least once a week for a quick after work dinner, or a leisurely saturday lunch.

Dear Julie,
Not only do I wholeheartedly agree with you, but I would also like to point out the glowing ten star reviews some dumps get over and over again by single-post reviewers and Squaremeals' own dated and somewhat superficial reviews, talking about dishes that haven't been on the menu for years. I advice you to instead start reading foodie blogs. They are much more balanced, honest, up to date and detailed. More
