Kicca (100 Draycott Avenue, London, SW3 3AD) I have been to Kicca 3 times in the last few months, the latest being this week-end, and the food is consistently excellent. The service is quick and gracious and the atmosphere is relaxed. The decor, I agree, is not great, but I still think one goes to restaurants primarily to eat well rather than stare at a slick decor while eating grisly food. So Kicca for me cuts it. The best being its daily specials (I recently had a perfect spaghetti alle vongole, followed by a dreamy Dover sole) and my favourite remains its simplest dish: a plate of mozzarella and Parma ham. Heaven on a plate.
