My girlfriend took me for a special birthday treat. What a DISSAPOINTMENT! We waited twenty minutes for a table which was ok because the sun was shining, we got in there and half the tables were empty? why were we waiting? We ordered the BRUSCHETTA, olives and stuffed pepperdews. We got two slices of bread, not even big slice might I add and enough dip for a loaf on a piece of wood. I wondered if the service had dropped the rest of the bread on the way to the table as it was pitiful. After 45 minutes the main course came with apologies. We expected something very special and got a bland carbonara and crab spaghettini than was just tomatoe pasta for £11.25. We sent back the watery bland carbonara and did not want to wait so shared the tomatoe pasta, oops sorry the crab spaghettini, it was easy to forget it was crab. The food was not good and the service was worse. The venue looked like a works factory canteen with some wine caged against the walls to tease the workers. This place is obviously playing off a name and the over zealous advertising which is plastered all over Canary wharf and ramps it right up. The bankers will see through it I think! Do not believe the hype!!!
