This resto is well past it's “Sell By” date. Went there with clients for lunch and was utterly disappointed and then shocked to see the £200+ bill for what amounted to poorly prepared and tasteless food. The Goat's Cheese Salad was neither a salad nor did it include anything that even resembled Goat's Cheese. What was served came close to a mousse of some sort with hardly a leaf of salad in the serving. Three out of the four of us ordered this same dish and were left scratching our heads when it arrived and, almost in unison, put down our forks after a few bites each! The Mains were not any better as the simple Fish & Chips order was terribly overcooked and hard to even cut through while the Trout was “chewy” according my client and colleague who both ordered the same dish. Finally, the place was practically empty at peak lunch hour in the City. That should've given us enough of a hint to exit immediately instead suffereing through a inedible meal AND get charged exorbitantly for the experience! I've since asked my PA to remove Catch from the list of nearby restaurants to take clients or to go for team gatherings!!!
