Floripa (91-93 Great Eastern Street, London, London, EC2A 3HZ) The place has an original decor, not as interesting as Favela Chic -Paris but original nevertheless. Favela Chic in London has been an awful experience throughout. It was made worse because most of us knew the origins of this place, from the first one which opened in Paris. A Brazilian would be ashamed of the tasteless food served in this place, using the Brazilian tag. The staff is rude, obnoxious and unhelpful. The food is expensive, tasteless and served cold. If you are not a quick eater don't bother booking a table for dinner over there. We were in a group of 15 people having dinner and some of us couldn't finish our meals before being invited to leave the table in a very impolite manner. When we've got the bill we could see we were being overcharged but, unfortunately, we were not given the time to check the bill as the rude manager came to our table at least three times and started physically moving some of us away and asking for the payment. We've felt like cows being pushed on a conveyor belt to the butchers. No chance of dialogue with the staff. Any complaint and you are threatened to be throw out. The music was mediocre and drinks were expensive. I would not recommend this place to anybody.
