Trinity House is a grand Georgian venue in a prime location in central London, close to the City and with links to Tower Hill and Fenchurch Street. As the official authority for lighthouses and a maritime charity, nautical references can be found throughout the decor, including maritime paintings, ship models and the brass bell from the royal yacht Britannia.
Designed by Samuel Wyatt in 1794, the building showcases a stunning neo-classical facade - one of many period features - which make for a beautiful backdrop for any celebration. Trinity House welcomes event bookings and has proudly been hosting parties since 1994. The venue offers five function rooms, some of which boast views of the Tower of London and overlook Trinity Square Gardens.
Each elegant room is multi-purpose, surrounded by impressive portraits and high windows. The Court Room is particularly special, with a ceiling fresco by artist William Holman Hunt and large windows which bathe the space in natural light. Here, there is capacity for 60 people for a sit-down meal or up to 120 for a drinks reception.
The most spacious room is the Library, overlooked by the minstrel’s gallery, which has a capacity for up to 120 people for a sit-down meal and 180 when standing. These two larger south-facing rooms both offer adjoining break-out rooms for tea and coffee. The Luncheon Room, along with the Reading Room, is ideal for more intimate meetings or workshops with room for between 20 to 40 people.
Exclusive hire of the entire house is available and allows guests to take full advantage of the distinguished interiors and facilities. There is also the flexibility to choose a combination of various rooms according to your needs, whether you need breakout space for an away day or somewhere to eat lunch.
