This informal bistro is set in a basement beside the College of Music and the BBC. The menu borrows from all four corners of France, showing serious intent with soupe de poissons with Gruyere, rouille and croutons or trout mousseline for starters, followed by old faithfuls in steak au poivre, carre d’agneau or boeuf bourguignon and maybe creme brulee or floating islands to finish. French chandeliers and an art deco mural add Gallic charm and atmosphere.
