Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar is a small independent fine dining restaurant located on St. Andrew’s Hill, Norwich. The menu is largely locally sourced and seasonal, prepared by their passionate in-house chefs.
The décor is traditional and inviting, furnished with chandeliers and simple white linen – the perfect place for family lunch or a cosy dinner for two. Bishops Dining Room and Wine Bar has a daytime and evening menu, as well as a separate Sunday lunch menu.
The fine dining lunch menu features many tasty looking dishes such as corn fed chicken supreme, and pan seared fillet of salmon served with cucumber, water cress and sesame salad. There is also a vegetarian option available for both courses.
The evening menu includes a good selection of starters such as seared scallops and spring green risotto, plus many sumptuous looking main courses on offer such as the 6oz fillet steak with confit garlic, and a lamb rump served with jersey royals and baby veg. Choose between two or three courses.
Tempting desserts include a strawberry Pimm’s trifle, a chocolate marquise served with an espresso ice cream, as well as the option to go for a locally sourced cheese board. Being a wine bar, Bishops Dining room has a great selection of quality wines available, many of which can be chosen to complement your meal.
