Done out like some prehistoric pit under lurid zigzag lights, this basement behemoth could be Fred and Wilma Flintstone’s local disco, or (better still) their offspring Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm's playpen: Zebrano's core customers tend to be young – or, at least, young at heart. Party anthems, crowd-pleasing bar bites and fairly priced alco-fixes are the bedrock of a winning formula both here and at the bar's two similarly high-spirited Soho sisters. Get in line for a herby Mojito, fruity Caipirinha or a Bombay Sapphire Martini flavoured with mint and basil, or go for a something sweet – perhaps Apple Strudel, a vodka-laced liquid pud fit for sugar plum fairies. Also check out a brandy, orange and apricot cooler entitled Thursday is the New Friday – although, in the City, that's an understatement as carefree stop-outs sink shooters, drop bombs and boogie until midnight.
