On the site there are two buildings, the old and the new barn. Built over 225 years ago, the old barn houses gorgeous five star awarded bedrooms that feature white walls and original beams for a cosy feel - the main Oak Suite is provided on a complimentary basis on the night of your wedding.
Depending on preference, you can either get married in the new barn or the manicured gardens surrounding the space; the new barn will also host the wedding breakfast, as well as your evening reception. Purpose built, this double-height space is perfect for decorating in any way you wish, with white washed walls acting as the ideal background for a number of themes. Inside you can also make the most of large windows and skylights that allow natural light to flood in during the day.
There’s capacity for 150 sit-down guests, plus an additional 100 people to join in the evening, making The Old Kent Barn a great option for generously sized wedding parties. Being family run there is an emphasis on making sure every guest is well looked after, with thoughtful touches such as couples being given a complimentary food and wine tasting after booking - here you’ll be able to discuss your menu in detail according to your taste and budget. On the day, food and drinks are taken care of by the dedicated on-site team using locally sourced ingredients.
