This Grade I-listed Georgian stately home near Milton Keynes is set in 80 acres of immaculately kept grounds with a generous lakeside marquee site for weddings. Chock-full of period features, the recently refurbished building is licensed to host civil ceremonies for up to 60 guests in its Grand Hall & has also got 47 bedrooms on site (13 in the main house & 34 across two additional wings). Dinners for 72 or receptions for 100 can be held in either the 18th-centry Grand Hall or newly built, glass-fronted Wolfson event suite, while larger parties can be accommodated in a marquee & smaller groups have a choice of intimate wood-panelled dining rooms, seating up to 26. The venue, which is also known as the Kavli Royal Society International Centre, is owned & run by the Royal Society & proceeds from events here go into its charitable work for the advancement of science. Chicheley Hall is available to hire exclusively or in part, with seasonal catering supplied by Harbour & Jones.
