As well as 39 pretty bedrooms – ranging in size from ‘tiny’ to ‘bigger’ and kitted out with rainforest showers, Cowshed goodies, free Wi-Fi and Sony flat-screens with Sky+, the Georgian townhouse offers an all-day dining room serving up seasonal British crowd pleasers. Reclaimed hardwood flooring, sleek period banquettes and crisp white linen set the tone in the 120-cover space, there’s also a counter for informal dining and booths for small parties. Just make sure you book ahead – its nearby stablemate is a better bet for dedicated event space.
