It’s hard to find a more striking yet practical setting for a small event than City Inn Westminster’s 14th-floor Sky Lounge. Proving that London does have a skyline with its breathtaking 360-degree views over the river Thames, Houses of Parliament, the BA London Eye and Trafalgar Square, the bright and contemporary venue can be booked for intimate meetings, dinners and receptions for up to 30 people. The room’s light, modern design and two-storey windows make guests feel like they are part of the skyline itself. Events can, for example, kick off with a drinks reception in the downstairs reception area (which also affords the same striking vistas), before guests head up to the dining room upstairs for a sit-down meal. Organisers who book events at the venue are allocated their own dedicated team to help with any requirements, be they for Champagne and canapes, bespoke menus, a private bar or music.
