Venue Review of One Great George Street
One Great George Street is an elegant four-domed Edwardian building in the heart of Westminster. With first-class facilities and a location near to Westminster Abbey and The Houses of Parliament, the collection of 19 rooms can accommodate anything from large conferences to more intimate functions. The exterior, foyer and grand staircase are made of striking Portland stone, while many of the rooms are panelled in walnut oak, with ornate plasterwork and crystal chandeliers. The venue, which has been selected to host the London Media Centre during the 2012 Olympics, also has a handy in-house restaurant for 100 and offers free Wi-Fi throughout.
