This chic Michelin-starred Indian grill in Knightsbridge is the younger sister of Chelsea’s Chutney Mary and Mayfair’s Veeraswamy. Like its siblings, Amaya’s dining experience goes beyond its excellent food. A glass roof bathes the restaurant in natural light, while an open kitchen adds to the atmosphere. By night, dramatic lighting transforms the space. Amaya’s Private Dining Room, which seats 14, was refurbished in September 2010 and offers menus ranging in price from £42 to £65 per head, along with an extensive wine list. The menu covers a range of grills, including venison, duck and lobster in the shell, as well as a collection of curries and biryanis.
