Venue Review of Kettner's

A known favourite of Oscar Wilde and Agatha Christie, Soho’s Kettner’s has long been a hang-out for London luminaries. Originally opened in 1867, the venue hangs on to many of its Georgian traits, although more recent refurbishments have brought the event space up to 21st-century standards. The Salle de Fête is a dedicated party floor for receptions of 120, while the more meeting-focused Studio, with high ceilings and huge Georgian windows, can host 40 for a conference. The clubby Apartment is a favourite for photo shoots, with a discreet entrance off Greek Street. Private dining, from the brasserie’s French-leaning menu, is a strong suit here.
