Venue Review of Weddings at Babington House
As the country outpost of the Soho House group of members’ clubs, early-Georgian Babington House is the original rural retreat for fashionable townies who don’t quite want to get away from it all.
Set in 18 acres of Somerset parkland, the club, hotel and spa has its own chapel dating back to 1750. Available for weddings, the venue’s tailored packages include a night’s accommodation in all 33
bedrooms, drinks reception, canapés, dinner and breakfast, as well as use of the main house attic, first floor, coach house, lodge, playroom and walled garden. The Orangery is the largest option
for private dining, with space for 90, while the Log Room can seat 32 at a long table.
