Venue Review of Said Business School - Park End Street
Saïd Business School is a modern addition to 800-year-old Oxford University, built across two sites. Its Park End Street venue, next to the mainline train station and just a short toss of a
mortarboard from the city centre, is set up for conferences, meetings and exhibitions. Opened in 2013 after a £28m investment, the building’s environmentally friendly West Wing houses three lecture
theatres, each seating up to 76 delegates, a trio of large classrooms and 18 boardroom-style seminar rooms. Exotic rugs and leather Chesterfields make its Club Room a fine space for refreshments,
while there are three private dining rooms that can be set up for gala dinners or buffets. Nelson Mandela opened the East Wing a decade earlier, lending his name to an auditorium that can seat 300
delegates. Three other lecture theatres and a horde of meeting rooms help it cater to groups of all sizes.
