Dating back to the Domesday Book, the original Pendley Manor was destroyed by fire in 1835 and rebuilt in 1872 as a Victorian manor house. Now a four-star country house hotel, it is set in 35 acres
of parkland within very easy reach of London. Comfortable bedrooms include 33 four-posters for the weekenders and standard, twin and executive rooms for corporate groups. A purpose-built conference
centre has 12 function rooms, all with natural daylight, to add to the handful of period boardrooms in the main house. Teambuilding is a speciality, with a four-acre meadow ideal for motorised
events (hot-air ballooning can be organised too). For relaxation, there’s a leisure club with an indoor swimming pool. The hotel specialises in wedding receptions and its ballroom, Harcourt, has
kitchens that can be used by outside caterers. The elegant Oak Restaurant has plenty of space for group dining.
