The country’s only medieval bastion still intact, Grade I-listed 19th-century Peckforton Castle is set amid Cheshire woodland. A recent renovation programme has seen a complete overhaul of the interior, in keeping with the medieval style, with all 47 bedrooms receiving a full revamp including new bathrooms throughout. The five meeting suites retain their original look, equipped with all the requisite amenities for conferencing. The largest of them is the 180-capacity Drawing Room, while the Boardroom is a more intimate space. The atmospheric Great Hall, Library and Hexagonal Room are further options for meeting and entertaining. Beyond the boardroom, falconry, Land Rover Experiences and numerous teambuilding activities can be arranged. There’s also an atmospheric brasserie with many 19th-century features located in the old scullery, as well as two spa treatment rooms on site.
