One of the country’s most elaborate royal palaces and home to some of England’s most famous kings and queens – notably Henry VIII – Hampton Court Palace is an unforgettable location for events. Over the centuries, the palace has hosted some astoundingly lavish celebrations. Today, it still provides stunning rooms for entertaining, from grand banquets in the Tudor Great Hall to wedding receptions in the state apartments or the pretty Garden Room, while the King’s and Queen’s Guard Chambers are private spaces for small groups. Every room is dripping in history, with centuries of stories to tell and original features still in fine condition. Once a dining room for members of Henry VIII’s Court, the 400-capacity Great Hall makes an impressive setting for prestigious banquets and receptions, as well as concerts and award dinners. The most recent opening is the Undercroft, where 220 guests can dance post-banquet.
