The Lowry

Ideally located in Manchester’s Salford Quays, The Lowry offers an event venue like no other. Within one iconic building, you’ll find a selection of unique spaces able to cater for various sizes and requirements. Each room has its own charm, with options for anything from whole company events to more intimate affairs like dinner with a view.
One of the larger spots available is the Lyric Theatre which offers 3 levels of tiered seating, has a capacity for up to 1730 people, and boasts the title of one of the largest stages in the UK.
For something slightly smaller, there’s a second theatre called Quays Theatre which provides room for up to 440 delegates across a combination of floor seating and balcony boxes. This is a highly adaptable space, which can be transformed into a traditional stage end, catwalk, theatre in the round and flat floored.
For those looking for somewhere that they can tuck into some delicious food whilst enjoying the incredible views of Salford Quays, the Compass room has floor to ceiling windows that are laid out in a unique circular shape. For dinners and receptions, a canopy of fairy lights can also be added to create the ultimate idyllic setting.
Aside from this, there is also a choice of four other rooms, one of which can be split by 3 partition walls to create one of the most intimate options available.
Of course, it’s important to keep guests happy, and there’s no better way than through good food. The team of chefs here have created a plethora of menus to ensure there’s something suitable for every event, from healthy meals to hearty British classics. All ingredients used in the dishes are chosen with local suppliers and seasonality in mind, to create the freshest, and most sustainable option possible.
