Headquarters for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship since 1928, Rhodes House has now opened its doors to events. For all the colonial formality of the front of the building, there’s nothing austere
about the interiors, designed to welcome scholars from around the world. High ceilings, mullioned windows and parquet flooring characterise the collection of function spaces, which each group will
have exclusive use of. The Milner Hall – a knockout backdrop for large-scale receptions and banqueting – is the largest, while two additional rooms can accommodate smaller receptions, dinners and
meetings (the Beit Room seats 45 and the Jameson Room can host 60 for a reception). Situated in the centre of Oxford, the building resembles a Cotswold country house and the event spaces overlook
the beautiful grounds, which include a walled garden, herbaceous border and lawn. Rhodes House is licensed for civil ceremonies.
