This privately owned luxury country house hotel occupies a 17th-century manor house in the picturesque Cotswold village of Lower Slaughter, with manicured gardens – including a croquet lawn and a tennis court – and the River Eye flowing by. The manor is well appointed for smaller meetings and events, with a choice of two boardrooms offering modern AV facilities and free Wi-Fi for up to 20 delegates. Some 22 guests can also enjoy private dining in the Panel Room, where food includes delicious local dishes such as Cotswold lamb rump with pearl barley, tomato fondue and mint jus. There are 19 bedrooms, so meetings and conferences can be combined with overnight stays and a spot of teambuilding or tennis. Set in four acres of gardens and very close to the village church, Lower Slaughter Manor is also available to hire exclusively, accommodating events like weddings for up to 74 guests.
