Hotel du Vin Cheltenham

It’s more than 200 years since George III first went to Cheltenham Spa for a bath and made the town an overnight sensation among the 18th century’s smart set. Contemporary Cheltenham’s Hotel du Vin has a classically Georgian exterior and channels that heritage into its 49 bedrooms and three event spaces. The high-ceilinged Sinners Enclosure gets lots of daylight and can get up to 50 people around its traditional fireplace. The Chef’s Table can seat 30 and its window onto the kitchen makes a memorable backdrop. Amid exposed brickwork and glazed doors, Almaviva has space for 20 and looks onto the hotel’s main Bistro and its ‘wineglass’ chandelier.
