High Elms Manor is a Grade II-listed Georgian country
house in Hertfordshire. Having hosted Midsomer
Murders no less than three times, it is also a regular
on TV. The house was used as a rehabilitation centre
after WWII, and then a school in the 1990s, but it now
serves as a smart venue for weddings and corporate
functions. A 20-seater mahogany boardroom table has
been added to its dining room and a crystal chandelier
to the Ballroom. Licensed for civil ceremonies, the library
has become an elegant wedding destination with floorto-
ceiling silk curtains. There’s even a helipad for anyone
planning a particularly grand entrance.
