The English Folk Dance and Song Society has a home. Since the 1930s, Grade II-listed Cecil Sharp House has typically been used to host artistic happenings for enthusiasts, but now offers its
double-height Kennedy Hall and the more intimate Trefusis Hall for weddings. In the Primrose Hill-Regent’s Park nexus, less than 10 minutes from Camden Town tube, there’s off-street parking and a
private garden that lends itself to Champagne receptions. As you might imagine from a music venue, the technical equipment’s all top notch and the acoustics are lovely. Catering is done in-house by
Pink Food. The food and drink menus cover a variety of styles and prices but, this being London’s foremost folk home, you should really wash the modern British cuisine down with a pint of best.
