Vintners' Hall

Square Meal Review of Vintners' Hall ?

There’s nothing like a bit of history to impress your guests and Vintners’ Hall, headquarters of the Worshipful Company of Vintners, has centuries of it. Rebuilt in 1670 after the Great Fire, the hall retains much of its architecture from this period. The heart of the venue is the 250-capacity Livery Hall, with its grand silk banners and carved oak panels. Other spaces are smaller but just as elegantly attired, such as the Swan Room, home to elaborate trompe l’oeil murals, and the Boardroom, which can be booked with the private Roof Terrace. As you’d expect at the ‘spiritual home of the wine trade’, tastings are easily arranged – the wine cellar is one of the City’s largest.
