The Royal Institution’s Grade I-listed building in Mayfair is a flexible and stylish venue. Restored Georgian spaces combine with light-filled contemporary areas, creating a bold contrast of old
and new for large-scale conferences, dinners and parties. There are 13 event spaces in all and the layout is such that, when the building is hired exclusively, you can easily hold receptions for up
to 600 roaming guests, with food and drink stations scattered around the venue. Stand-out spaces include a five-storey glass atrium at the centre of the venue and a historical lecture theatre that
seats 440 delegates. Wedding ceremonies can also be held in some of the venue’s most impressive spaces, such as the library.

The Royal Institution of Great Britain has announced what it has in store for summer. For £55pp +VAT, summer reception packages at the Grade II-listed building include two glasses of prosecco,
canapés, half a bottle of wine and bar snacks. Bookers can also choose between two rooms to hold their reception. The 40-capacity Cartier Room is decked out with wood panelling and chandeliers, and
the glass-ceilinged Atrium works well for sunny evenings.
