As one of London’s most celebrated society restaurants since the 1920s, Quaglino’s has seen some famous feet descend its statement staircases. Revived by Terence Conran in the power-dining 1990s
and now part of the D&D London stable, the huge dining room, which holds 400 diners when hired exclusively, has retained its sense of occasion – and its Champagne menu. Two private rooms,
seating 44 and 20 guests respectively, overlook the main space (great for people-watching) and can also be used for receptions. Like the clientele, the food is international with a luxury twist. It
includes a show-stopping plateau de fruits de mer from the famous crustacea altar.
