One of the most powerful large light cruisers ever built, HMS Belfast is the only surviving vessel of her type to have seen active service during WWII. Now moored between London Bridge and Tower
Bridge, the boat is owned and managed by the Imperial War Museum. Her event spaces include the Admiral’s Quarters, Ward and Ante Rooms, which all combine historic interiors with modern meeting
technology. The Gun Room and the Ship’s Company Dining Room are also available to hire and 2013 saw the addition of a rooftop bar, the Upper Deck. For 2014, the venue will be holding Brazilian
Carnival-themed summer parties, for groups of 24 to 450. From 1 June until 30 September, packages include the Summer Fiesta package (£90pp +VAT), Rio Carnival package (£115pp +VAT) and Bahia Summer
Party package (£75pp +VAT) and include BBQs, summer cocktails and live entertainment. The ship is also licensed to hold weddings and Sodexo Prestige caters for private events on board.
