Since 1964, Daphne’s has been charming the Chelsea locals with its sunny Italian disposition. Having turned fifty this year, it is celebrating with a new look, featuring a pink marble topped bar,
Italian-made 1950s Murano glass chandeliers and a selection of European modern art. A retractable roof keeps it fresh and light in summer and an open fire means it’s cosy in the winter. Table
configurations vary, but the maximum number for an event is 40 on four tables of 10. There’s also room for cocktail parties of 50, but don’t miss out on the ingredients-led Italian food with
seasonal specials. In the main restuarant, reasonably priced lunches are a pleasant surprise for this part of town, with table bookings available for groups of as many as 16 guests.

The South Kensington restaurant has announced its winter menu. With three to choose from, dishes include Cornish lamb, Cavolo nero and artichokes, beef carpaccio with rocket and parmesan, and Amedei chocolate zuccotto. Yum.
