The Great Hall at St Bartholomew’s has been hosting banquets since the 18th century. This historic space on the first floor of hospital’s North Wing provides an atmospheric setting for festive
events, with some really impressive art providing backdrop. Access to the venue is via the imposing Grand Staircase, which is adorned with painted scenes by William Hogarth. Meanwhile up to 190
guests can enjoy a festive feast beneath the hall’s ornate ceiling – the only known English work of French craftsman Jean Baptiste St Michele – and up to 300 standing guests can mingle below
portraits of St Bartholomew, Henry VIII and Edward VII. Christmas parties in the venue are available on a bespoke basis.
