The Welsh island whose residents have famously included the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge is also home to this rather magnificent turreted castle, modelled on Château Chenonceau in the Loire.
Dating back to 1850, the Grade II-listed venue has been given a sympathetic makeover by luxury venue operator AmaZing Venues and is now a popular destination for corporate retreats and weddings.
Its 80-seater Banqueting Hall is complemented by a quirky range of smaller entertainment spaces, including a subterranean Wine Cave that can host tastings or receptions for up to 30 guests. With
gardens leading down to the beach on the edge of Menai Strait, where the venue has its own mooring, Château Rhianfa also overlooks Snowdonia National Park across the water. A location like that is
obviously great for outdoor activities and the team can arrange anything from treks and RIB rides to sailing days.
