I attended the restaurant last week and was impressed by the decor and the ambiance. The food was excellent, but the customer service was very poor. Waiters looked as though they felt they were to cool to serve. And I'm thinking, hang on, your a waiter mate, err I don't think you are too cool for school.
My problems really began when I left my debit card behind the bar after we moved from that area to our table and paid in cash. I went back to the restaurant on Friday, saw the French/Spanish? Lady at the front of house and explained what had happened. She ignored me in front of other customers, and kept me waiting even though I had arrived before the people she served.
After 10-15 minutes she explained any cards would be in the safe which she or anyone currently there didn’t have access to.
She assured me she would call me on Friday evening…Regardless of weather or not she found the card… Did I receive a call, did I hell!
So Monday rolls around, I call up, an extremely apologetic woman comes on the phone, “apologies for not calling me back” and says she will look into and call me back… Did she hell!
Wednesday rolls around, again an apologetic women says the bar manager is in a meeting and he may have stored it somewhere safe. She is leaving but will leave messages for someone to call me back… Did I receive the call. Did I hell!!!
So it's Thursday, 11.20 am… I call again. New woman… I’m sorry sir, I will check with my office and call you back in 5 minutes… It's now 11.37 am…
Seriously, what is wrong with people??
