On the 23rd of March my son and I we went to try Chavot new Brasserie.
It was exquisite; the receptionist/hostess was very professional and took us to our table with a nice smile.
The bread was excellent and generally when the bread is good the food is good, I have always found this to be true.
As a starter we have had the tartare and the chicken liver parfait, both were very tasty.
We tried the soft crab… Hum, delicious.
As a main course we had the canette with endives a l'orange -the orange sauce with the endives was melting in the mouth- the cote de porc on the grill, and as a side dish the home-made French fries, all were excellent and superb, cooked to perfection and the green beans were cooked properly, I mean not raw, unlike most of the restaurants.
The sommelière suggested us a Chateau Maine Martin vieille vigne , a natural red wine, and it was perfect both for the price and the dishes.
The coffee was smooth and well-balanced.
Prices are very reasonable and the service was excellent, especially considering that the restaurant was full and it was a Saturday night.
A well-spent evening in a restaurant the way I like them.
Thank you / Merci Eric Chavot and your team, you made us very happy. Welcome back!
