Square Meal review of The Library:

The Library Bar & Kitchen serves up an intriguing tapas menu spanning everything from paella to pork kebab & moules mariniere. Most national cuisines are covered including exotic Swedish picks – try ‘dill vafflor med skagen rora’, savoury dill waffles topped with a scoop of chopped prawns & smoked salmon enveloped in lemon mayonnaise – or you can sample The Library’s brilliant take on fish & chips with curry-battered monkfish on mushy pea puree with a bowl of fries. Interesting desserts include exquisite home-cooked oat biscuits with sticky lemon curd. Panelled mirrors open up the tiny space giving it a bright feel & the vintage Penguin book covers that adorn the walls add character.
