Much smarter than your average Italian, it combines sleek, modern lines with industrial features to match the hotel’s architecture. Cooking lives up to the surroundings: tasty starters include perfectly cooked ravioli with sweet pumpkin & sage butter & a Minestrone soup packed with flavour. Mains are equally impressive: stone baked shoulder of lamb with garlic, rosemary & pancetta & osso bucco are wonderfully moist & tender, both underpinned by excellent accompaniments of French beans & braised potatoes with pancetta & onion. Friendly staff add to the welcoming atmosphere, which is further fuelled by a well-structured and reasonably priced wine list. Our favourite tables are those that overlook the adjoining Winter Gardens.
