Square Meal review of Cayenne:
With a designer interior & innovative cooking, Cayenne wouldn’t look out of place in London or New York. It’s owned by TV chef Paul Rankin & boasts a buzzy bar & two equally lively dining areas, where excellent food is served. Delicate sushi hand-rolls come generously stuffed with sweet, fluffy crabmeat & beautifully ripe avocado in an Asian-leaning starter, ahead of a closer-to-home main of dry-aged Irish sirloin, served perfectly rare with an indulgent dollop of potato & horseradish gratin on the side. Finish with a passionfruit tart accompanied by bitter dark chocolate sorbet.
