This stylish modern restaurant within the trendy Lace Market Hotel offers contemporary cooking in a relaxed atmosphere. Simple dishes like daub of beef, and roast chicken breast with plain potato mash and thyme gravy are particularly well executed, though there is plenty of elaborate offerings for the more adventurous (john dory on seafood gnocchi with Avruga caviar beurre blanc). Service is friendly and correct, while a short wine list carries some new world treats. Don’t miss the warm chocolate pudding with Bailey’s ice cream for afters.
