Standards remain as high ever at Owens, the flagship restaurant of this sprawling resort hotel located in the picturesque Usk Valley. Cooking is at its adventurous best with starters of confit salmon fillet with roast langoustine, Jerusalem artichokes and shellfish dressing, mains such as rabbit, chorizo and foie gras cannelloni with buttered rabbit jus and desserts of warm cinnamon toast with strawberries and lemon curd ice cream. There's a fabulous selection of cheeses and a separate menu for vegetarians.
