Square Meal Review of The Grazing Shed ?

The two young owners of this enterprising joint behind the shiny St David’s complex in Cardiff city centre have registered their specialities as Super Tidy Burgers – a trademark that certainly suggests a degree of dedication. They use locally sourced Welsh beef, baked their own breads and buns, make sauces and chutneys, and keep a keen eye on their prices: all-in packages of a burger, ‘country fries’ and a bottomless drink made using local syrup generally cost around a tenner, depending on your choice. Try the John Wayne version with Cheddar fondue, smoky bacon, BBQ dressing and red onion confit or the spicy Uncle Pedro with avocado mash, Mayan salsa, jalapeño-infused sour cream and chorizo. There are also special deals for ‘juniors’, students and veggies, with lemonade, ginger beer or elderflower cordial to wash it all down.
