The Duke of Portland says ?

This award-winning gastro pub in Lach Dennis, Cheshire, has been recently relaunched by the Mooney family ヨ famous for their success with the Belle Epoque Brasserie in Knutsford. The Duke of Portland has a different, down-to-earth approach from its sister restaurant, with an elegant, muted toffee and cream interior and a classic modern European menu. All the restaurants produce is seasonal and local ヨ with everything from their soup, fishcakes, stocks and sauces made in house. The Duke's wine list offers the broadest choice of wines of any pub in the region, and has 20 bottles for under ᆪ20. Favourite dishes include the black pudding and bacon crostini, and the legendary fish and chips with mushy peas.
