The Hillbark Grill is pegged as the Hillbark hotel's 'informal' restaurant, but there's nothing overtly informal about this grand dining room, complete with wood panelled walls and chic modernist furniture. The Hillbark hotel is set in a stunning mock Tudor manor of Victorian vintage set in 250 acres of parklands on the Wirral peninsula, only fifteen minutes from Liverpool, and Hillbark Grill has a superb menu of steaks, fish and hand-crafted burgers cooked on a bespoke American chargrill. Favourite dishes include the home-smoked salmon with a beetroot and cucumber relish; the monkfish in Parma ham; and a classic treacle tart for dessert. Hillbark Grill has an extensive international wine list.
